During the outbreak of the Russo-Japanese war he received a letter from Professor T Sakakibara, of the Imperial School of Medicine, Tokyo, asking permission to translate the work in to Japanese, which he gave. Phipson would like to offer the Royal Society a copy of the Japanese translation. |
