DescriptionLankester refers to some 'misapprehension' that Geikie has, but he will do all he can to meet the 'wishes' of the Royal Society's Coumcil. He agrees that their volumes on the Natural History of the Antarctic Expedition should be the same size as the royal Society's, but remarks he does not understand where the Royal Society's Council comes into this, as they will be published and sold by the Trustees.
