TitleLetter from [Tempest] Anderson, 17 Stonegate, York, to [Robert] Harrison, The Royal Society, London
CreatorAnderson; Tempest (1846-1913); British ophthalmic surgeon
Date21 March 1908
DescriptionReturns proofs and informs he has verified the references he has ticked, whilst having had the spellings of the botanical names checked at Kew. The collection of plates remain outstanding. Complains the first set of proofs by Swans were poor so he returned them. Hopes that the enlargements Harrison was able to help with, will be better. Expects to be in London and wonders if, to coincide with his trip, the printers could be hurried so he could pick them up and take them to Swans, to attempt to match lettering of the transparencies to correspond.
