DescriptionInforms that G.A Belogolowoi, a Fellow of the Imperial Society of Naturalists and university lecturer, along with two assistants, is endeavouring to embark on a zoological excursion on Niger for embriological investigation of Crossopterygii and Dipnoi. Seeks assistance from the Royal Society in helping them request from the Royal Nigerian Company the use of its rooms for a specific period. Attached is a draft copy of a letter from the Royal Society, to the Royal Nigerian Company, as requested by Umov. Also attached is a second letter from Umov to the Royal Society, thanking for their mediation with the Nigeer Company [all enclosures present].
Includes an internal Royal Society memorandum, dated 28 February 1911.
