Description | Informs he is sending a paper by Dr B Boltwood titled "Report on the separation of ionium and actinium from certain residues and the production of helium by ionium", stating that the paper contains an account of the "activium residues" loaned to him by the Royal Soiety for the concentration of ionium and actinium present, as well as an account of an experiment to show that helium is produced by ionium. Further states he is adding a footnote in connection with the work, detailing his thoughts. Includes an internal Royal Society memorandum, dated 1 February 1911. |
