Title | Letter from [Dukinfield Henry] Scott, East Oakley House, Basingstoke, to [John Rose] Bradford, [Royal Society] |
Creator | Scott; Dukinfield Henry (1854 - 1934) |
Date | 9 July 1913 |
Description | He is aware that a paper on the fossil Lepidostrobus, by Mrs Arber, is being sent to the Royal Society, stating he has already read it and reported on it for the Linnean Soicety, and that if it should by chance be referred to him now, he requests for it not to be sent to him as the plates are very bulky and troublesome to send. Believes fesh referees are required and recommends [Francis Wall] Oliver and [Robert] Kidston. Seeks advice in relation to reading a joint paper with Jeffrey of Harvard, on Devonian plants, that is not quite ready, to the Royal Society. |
