TitleLetter from [Henry John] Elwes, Colesborne, to the Royal Society
CreatorElwes; Henry John (1846-1922); botanist, entomologist, and author
Date2 February 1922
Description'Dear Sir, I had a letter recently from you inviting me to have a photograph taken by Elliott & Fry for your series. I find a very good one about 12 years ago, which I had forgotten, made by them to put into "The Trees of Great Britain & Ireland" with my co-author Prof. Henry, who is a candidate for the Sciety and, I hope, will soon be elected. I hope this will serve your purpose, as I cannot get another one now. Yours faithfully, H J Elwes'.
