DescriptionNtofies that Dame Alice Godman informed him she had seen Towle on the matter of the India Office and what had been agreed with them, their suggestion to assist him in continuing the publication of Land & Fresh Water Mollusca of India. Encloses a copy of a letter from Mr Charles Hedley praising the work on Indian Mollusca, which is much appeciated and used in Australia in the study of representative species and genera [enclosure present]. Informs he has sent Dame Godman a copy of the same letter and thanks the Royal Society for all they have done.
