Description'Dear Cockcroft,
The last Council meeting is on 6 July and if any recommendation for a successor to Dr Heitler is to be made so as to take effect from 1 October, the recommendation would have to be made before 6 July.
Many thanks for letting me know that [Niels] Bohr will be coming to England on 24 June. I have written and asked whether it will be possible for him to be present at the discussion on Hahn's paper.
Yours sincerely
