Pollock had telegraphed representatives in Copenhagen and Oslo to ensure that their respective governments are agreeable to the visit, to request for accommodation arrangements to be made, and for arrangements to be made to inform the academies of sciences. The Ambassador to the Netherlands Government is also being consulted.
