TitleLetter from Morrell Peel and Gamlen, solicitors, 1 St. Giles, Oxford, to [Robert Harrison], the Assistant Secretary, Royal Society, Burlington House, London
Date4 October 1916
DescriptionThe small holdings in Boots and the Bristol Brewery have been disposed of, and the proceeds deposited with Sir Alfred Bray Kempe. They note the duty on the estate, which has been duly paid and the balance transferred to the Royal Society. Other transfers of funds are listed, with amounts. Some delays have been caused by the seal of the Royal Society not being available until October. They ask that the new transfers are sealed and they will then make out a statement of account [of the Moseley bequest].
