TitleLetter from Amabel Nevill Sollas, 48 Woodstock Road, Oxford, to Sir William Crookes
Date2 September 1915
DescriptionShe encloses a copy of her son's will, leaving everything to the Royal Society. His property is small at present, about £2,000, but it will increase from the Moseley Estate. His two aunts are in their seventies, and at her own death there will be further additions to the legacy, of several thousands of pounds. She is leaving immediately for Red Cross work in France but she will give instruction for documents to be sent to Crookes. There are some personal items that he treasured which Mrs Sollas would like to retain. She asks if it would be possible to purchase them, at the valuation which she intends to have made.
