TitleLetter from William Bateson, the John Innes Horticultural Institution, Mostyn Road, Merton, to [Francis AlexanderTowle]
Date25 March 1922
DescriptionListing people to receive soiree invitations, including the Maharajah of Jahalawar. He has just heard that [Thomas Hunt] Morgan has agreed 1 June for the Croonian Lecture and that he sails back on 14 June, so the 15 June discussion must lapse. It seem unlikely that it could be held on 8 June. If a demonstration is required, he suggests that Imperial College might be the best place. In a postscript, he asks if the Society would care to arrange a show in the Library, on the day of the Lecture.
