| Description | Hardy read Morgan's letter with great pleasure and is glad that he can give the lecture. At the last Council meeting it was agreed that the Croonian Lecture should be on 1 June, with the discussion at the next meeting, 15 June, since there is no gathering during Whit week. It could be done on 8 June if absolutely necessary, but it would be inconvenient. Hardy will do his best to have microscopes set up, but 'we are very old-fashioned and very ill supplied with facilities for demonstration, I hope by hook or by crook to succeed'. He asks for the exact title of the lecture and an abstract. |
