| Description | Mostly cuttings taken from contemporary newspapers, arranged onto five pieces of card.
Cuttings are:
Invitation to a Meeting of the Royal Society, 10 January 1752, signed by James West as Vice President. The meeting would elect a Secretary, following the death of Cromwell Mortimer.

Cutting on the death of Gilbert Burnet, Bishop of Salisbury and FRS, 1715; two cuttings on meetings in 1731 and two cuttings on the election of Sir Humphry Davy as the President of the Royal Society in 1820.
Three cuttings, one from 1739 on the Annual Meeting of the Royal Society, one from 1731 on a meeting of the Royal Society and one from 1723 on the opening of all packets sent to the Royal Society to be opened in the presence of a Committee ("to prevent such vile Practices...as Thomas the late House-Keeper of the Royal Society was guilty of").
