Description | Giving details on the suggested timing of the Transit, making reference for the best locations for astronomers to observe it in Northern Latitudes (ie Spitzbergen and Fort Churchill on Hudson Bay) and suggesting that observation by ship in the Southern Latitudes (a sum of £4000 is suggested) should be paid for by the Crown.
