ProvenanceThe penguin came from the Emperor Bay, next to Halley Bay, because of the rookery there. Unsure if came back to the Society when the advance party returned in 1956, or with the return of the first party in 1959. First specimens were sent to the Natural History Museum for treating and stuffing (George Hemmen, R119281)
