Description | Lloyd informs Sabine of his certainty that he would like the small needles for the dip when Sabine had tried them. Lloyd has made a comparison of probable errors with needles of different sizes. Lloyd discusses the difficulty that small needles have to balance. Lloyd discusses his reason for making observations with a needle whose poles are reversed.
