Description | Broun thanks Lloyd for reading his note and for his encouragement that Broun's method is feasible. Broun remarks on Lloyd's doubts regarding the method. Broun discusses the differences of the tangents using equations. Broun agrees with Lloyd's opinion that the axle has a great deal to do with the errors of the instrument. Query on the mean coefficient. Broun notes that he has adopted a coefficient and comments on the reasons for this in the introduction of results of the observations for 1843. |
