DescriptionForwarding the sixteenth monthly report on work at Kent's Cavern. The lack of bones where they are working is considered 'a remarkable and interesting fact'. Pengelly's report read at Nottingham was well received and was reprinted in the Torquay newspapers - a copy was sent with this letter. Mr [George] Busk was added to the [Kent's Cavern] Committee at Nottingham and a further grant of £100 was awarded. Mentions the application made by [Sir William] Boyd Dawkins and Ashford Sanford was referred to Busk.
Notes the death of 'our dear old friend Dr Skey.
