Description | Monthly report of the superintendents of exploration. With a note 'Mr Vivian is from home'. One month on from the last report, there has been no 'delivery of any new feature in the cavern'. They have 'just completed the twenty sixth "parallel"... the cave-earth has been lowered to the depth of four feet..' Amongst objects found, there are teeth of: 'rhinoceros, hyena, bear, horse, and deer; several good flakes and chips of flint', and an implement 'worked to an edge all round the circumfrence' with a length of 3.6 inches. |
