Most of the material excavated in April had already been examined previously by Mr MacEnery and they discovered nothing new. They found the following teeth of animals: 31 hyena, 21 horse, 13 rhinoceros, four elephant, four fox, three bear, two deer, two megaceros, two ox, one wolf, and one reindeer. They have proceeded to break up the stalagmitic floor but as yet found no interest. |
