Description | Monthly report of the superintendents of exploration. In October, 'the 44th, 45th, and 46th "parallels" were excavated and the 47th was begun. The stalagmite crust has been from eighteen inches to three feet in thickness.' Several rodent remains were found. Crude drawings of a found flint implement is sketched to show size and shape: No. 808. A quartz stone of interest is found, which is about two inches in length. |
