Title | Letter from Jean François Dominique Arago to Thomas Young |
Date | 2 April 1824 |
Description | No origin listed, addressed to Young at the Board of Longitudes. Relates to Arago's contribution on polarisation and light for the Encyclopedia Britannica. Arago has just received a letter from Young announcing that the Encyclopedia Britannica volume may be printed without Arago finalising his note on polarisation. Arago prefers that none of the treatise be included if he cannot finish it properly. If so, he will publish in Paris instead. Announces that he will be critical of [David] Brewster's work. |
