TitleLetter from Alexander Bryson, Edinburgh to Edward Sabine
Date[1816-1866]
DescriptionDiscussion regarding the sale of the Makerstoun magnetic instruments on 4th April. Bryson informs Sabine that a description of the instruments can be found in Volume 19 of the Edinburgh Transactions. Bryson notes that Sabine is better equipped to judge the price of such instruments, and is of the opinion they will not bring in much at the sale, apart from perhaps the dip circle.
