DescriptionThree diagrams depicting Chambers instrument for the purpose of producing a complete record of rainfall by means of photography [see MS/257/1/365]. Figure one refers to Chamber’s instrument including a funnel, a pipe, and a cylindrical vessel. Figure two depicts a photographic lens, a bulls eye condenser, and two mirrors in an arrangement needed if a barograph is kept in continuous operation. Figure three is a facsimile of a curve obtained by the rain gauge referred to in figure one and described in MS/257/1/365.
