DescriptionChambers expresses his pleasure at learning his paper on the diurnal variations of the wind has been published in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, and requests Sabine to provide him with any suggestions that could guide him in future investigations. Chamber is currently at Owens College but will return to [Mumbai] Bombay at the end of May. Chambers brother [Charles Chambers] has complained of ill health, but is determined to stay in Bombay until the transit of Venus, and publishing ‘many interesting facts’ brought from observations in Mumbai. Chambers expresses his desire to aid his brother.
