Description | Ballot informs Sabine that a little magnetic building has been established, and thanks him for the instruments he provided, as well as different observations and papers from St Helena and Greenwich. Ballot expresses gratitude to Admiral [Robert] FitzRoy for his study of storms. Dr [Pieter Adrian] Bergsma conveyed Sabine’s compliments to Ballot, and Ballot intends to visit England soon bringing with him research on the moons influence. |
