| Creator | Bellot; Hugh Hale Leigh (1860-1928); British lawyer |
| Recipient | Thorpe; Sir Thomas Edward (1845-1925); British chemist |
| Date | 3 February 1922 |
| Description | He is glad to read from Thorpe that Germany has no monoply on the means to produce poison gases. Justice Peterson's report is to be circulated for comment and amendment. He draws Thorpe's attention to Article 171 of the Treaty of Versailles and states that he sees no reason why a prohibition on poison gas should be limited to Germany rather than being universally applied. |
