Items from the Royal Society's Museum, or Repository, prefaced by an 'Index of Heads', classifying material in five categories: 1. Antiquities &c. 2. Habits, Ornaments, Utensils, Tools, &c. 3. Curious Works of Art. 4. Chemistry and Medicines. 5. Machines, Models, Instruments, Telescopes, Microscopes &c. Each category has a brief numbered list of materials with occasional donor information and additional numbers. Very occasional references to Grew's Catalogue.. Items have been checked by pencilled ticks at the left margin.

The manuscript has a typed paper label on the front cover 'INVENTORY OF ANTIQUITIES, APPARATUS ETC.'
