DescriptionHe answered Few's note rather hastily, and refers Few to the questions upon which Council needs advice. They can rescind the statutes in question, but neeed to know what situation they would then be in. He asks if the clerk needs to be elected by St Andrew's Day annually, or only sworn in annually. Power of dismissal rests with the Society, but fixing the salary with Council, he thinks.
