DescriptionNotes that the harvesting would be 'much facilitated' if the Central Educational authority in each county would supervise it -- that it would be necessary to arrange with the Local Government Board auditors -- asks if Rhondda could put pressure onthe LGB -- notes that the chestnut harvesting is an experiment, but is 'sure that the net gain to the community in the form of food will more than counterbalance expenses'.
