NotesThis appears to be a draft of the amended instructions proposed by the Committee of Six which was appointed at the Joint Antarctic Committee meeting on 26 April 1901 [see MS/547/9/21]. Goldie's letter to Alfred Bray Kempe on 28 April 1901 implies that the meeting took place on 1 May [see MS/547/5/45].
