Title | Draft letter from [Alfred Bray Kempe], Clereholt, Holmbury St Mary, Dorking, to [Louis] Bernacchi |
Creator | Kempe; Sir; Alfred Bray (1849-1922) |
Date | 20 August 1901 |
Description | Informs Bernacchi that he has communicated with one member of the Finance Committee, and confirms there will be no difficulty with his travel and subsistence expenses to cover his visit to Potsdam. Kempe assumes that Bernacchi is happy to be repaid upon his return, after presenting an account of his spending. Discusses the topic of passage to Melbourne, informing Bernacchi that if he decides not to travel on the 'Cuzco' he should provide a letter to the Finance Committee giving his reasons. His expenses in Melbourne will be paid by the Finance Committee, but Kempe still needs to confirm the details. Kempe will be in London for a few days after 11 September, and will be able to see Bernacchi before he leaves. |
