Description | Finds that two resolutions have been passed, at different meeings of the Joint Committee, concerning [George Robert Milne] Murray's honorarium. Sir Clements Markham has written to Sir William Huggins to try and resolve the matter before the next Finance Committee meeting on Tuesday. Longhurst has sent Huggins copies of both resolutions, along with the conditions of Murray's appointment, in case he needs to refer to them. The minutes of the 25 June meeting are at the printers. Two of Scott's letters are being typewritten and will be sent to the Society tomorrow. |
