TitleLetter from Robert Chalmers to A B Kempe
Date8 July 1903
DescriptionStates Longhutrst had told him today something in general terms about stores having been ordered for the "Discovery" ; and Cocks tells him now that (perhaps) £2,000 is involved. This is a serious matter and he thinks that Kempe, Cocks and himself ought to meet and consider the matter, unofficially, in the first instance. Would tomorrow morning suit Kempe and if so, would he call in at 43 Charing Cross and bring Cocks with him, say at eleven. He will be at the Treasury until two o' clock.
