Admiral Sir [Richard] Vesey Hamilton resigned from the Committee.

The Instructions for the Commander of the Expedition were discussed. Further amendments were proposed and accepted. The complete instrustions as finally approved by the Committee were entered into the minutes.

The Instructions for the Director of the Civilian Staff were discussed as well. Further amendments were proposed and accepted. The complete instrustions as finally approved by the Committee were entered into the minutes.

Copies of both sets of instructions are to be printed and sent to the Society Presidents and the Executive Committee, and should be presented to [Robert Falcon] Scott to ask if he will accept them.

The Finance Committee were instructed to arrange an honorarium for Dr George Murray.
