Items discussed:

1. Minutes of the previous meeting agreed.

2. Read the reports from the sub-committees.

3. Read the Resolution of the Berlin Congress, proposing a Commission to consider magnetic and meteorological research in the Antarctic.

4. Captain Creak and Professor Schuster appointed to the Commission for Magnetism. Buchan and R H [Robert Henry] Scott appointed to the Commission for Meteorology.

5. A resolution proposed by Sir Clements Markham was deferred.

6. Markham, Sir Michael Foster and Sir Anthony Hoskins to draw up the powers and duties of a proposed Executive Committee for the next meeting.
