Items discussed:

1. The first paragraph of Sir Clements Markham's resolution was adopted with some amendments.

2. The Joint Committee has appointed an Executive Committee consisting of Sir Clements Markham, Sir R [Richard] Vesey Hamilton, Captain [Thomas Henry] Tizard, and Professor [Edward Bagnall] Poulton.

3. Some alterations to the Memorandum concerning the Executive Committee were discussed.

4. Recommended that members of the Executive Committee are ex-officio members of the Joint Committee.
