TitleLetter from J J [Joseph John] Thomson, Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorThomson; Sir Joseph John (1856-1940); British physicist
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date14 October 1902
DescriptionThomson cannot go to the meeting on Thursday as his lectures will not be over in time for him to get to town. He has direct experience of [Charles Thomson Rees] Wilson, who has force of character and, he supposes, is not lacking in administrative capability. If the latter is more important than meteorology, then perhaps Larmor should consider Skinner who is a good organiser with knowledge of physics.
