| Title | Letter from J J [Joseph John] Thomson, Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Thomson; Sir Joseph John (1856-1940); British physicist |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 14 October 1902 |
| Description | Thomson cannot go to the meeting on Thursday as his lectures will not be over in time for him to get to town. He has direct experience of [Charles Thomson Rees] Wilson, who has force of character and, he supposes, is not lacking in administrative capability. If the latter is more important than meteorology, then perhaps Larmor should consider Skinner who is a good organiser with knowledge of physics. |
