| Title | Letter from C J T [Clarence John Threkeld] Sewell, Woodston, Tenbury, Worcestershire, to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Sewell; Clarence John Threlkeld (1884-1912); British clergyman and mathematician |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 30 March [1911?] |
| Description | He has delayed in replying to Larmor as his letter was forwarded and he had to send for a copy of his paper. Larmor was correct in thinking that Sewell had supposed the small spheres to be fixed, giving his reasons. He discusses the validity of the application of his results to fog, but is hampered by the lack of books giving physical constants. He thinks that some results may not be valid and therefore provides a deletion and an alternative note for the paper. |
