TitleLetter from Frederick Soddy, 36 Kersland Street, Glasgow, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorSoddy; Frederick (1877-1956); British chemist and social commentator
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date22 November 1906
DescriptionHe thanks Larmor for the letter, the contents of which he has noted and destroyed. Soddy has looked through the literature and has no desire to deprecate the charcoal method and will insert words to that effect in the proofs, referring to papers on the subject. He has not found that the importance of the method of removing the air has been brought out clearly in any early papers. He is obliged to Larmor for his kindness and interest in the papers.
