TitleLetter from H W [Henry William] Watson, the Rectory, Berkeswell, Coventry, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorWatson; Henry William (1827-1903); British clergyman
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date2 February 1888
DescriptionWatson is not carping at Larmor's work. He wrote for information, as he believes that matters were imperfectly thought out, and he realises how difficult it is to be interrogated once a subject has passed out of thought. He notes the value in Larmor's reply, and draws his attention to another point in the same paper, concluding that it must be a case of induced currents.
