TitleLetter from Alfred Young, Birdbrook Rectory, Halstead, Essex, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorYoung; Alfred (1873-1940); British mathematician
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date22 January 1925
DescriptionHe gives news of [John Hilton] Grace, having heard again from Mr. Whiteside. Grace remains at Beckham workhouse where he is being occupied with some bookwork and reading. A few months' rest may work wonders for him, but on no account should any money be sent to him. Young is convinced that Grace is in good hands. He has had a letter from Wilson, to say that Grace was destitute and his friends would help, so something has been talked about, probably from Peterhouse. Young has written to Wilson, to caution him.
