TitleLetter from Wm E [William Edward] Thrift, Bryn Dedwydd, Penmaenmawr, North Wales, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorThrift; William Edward (1870-1942); Irish academic and politician
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date3 July 1901
DescriptionBefore he left Dublin he sent to press the complete set of papers from [George Francis] Fitzgerald's list and he has received a letter from [John Francis] Weldrick. He does not understand Weldrick's position, delaying because he is waiting for new type. Thrift queries the print run of the edition, with Weldrick thinking that 500 copies is too small, but this must be known to guide the engravers of the frontispiece. Thrift thinks the Board only sanctioned 500. He received proofs two of three days ago and hopes Larmor has received his.
