| Description | He thanks Taylor for congratulating him on the Senior Fellowship. He is fortunate to have gained this position of virtually complete rest just as his powers of action were becoming impaired, otherwise he would have regretted the change. He notes liking Taylor's new work before discussing the use of the terms 'orthocentre' and 'orthocycle' at Dublin, but he does not know of the use of 'orthocycle' and 'orthosphere' anywhere else until suggested by Taylor. He expands upon this, noting contributions by French critics. Townsend discusses the idea of a magnitude of any kind having two different values. |
