TitleLetter from Morris W [William] Travers, Chemical Laboratory, University College, Bristol, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorTravers; Morris William (1872-1961); British chemist
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date17 June 1906
DescriptionHe has been in correspondence with [Sydney] Young on the topic, the latter sending him notes which confirm Travers' observations. Young had not considered the phenomenon of [critical] opalescence. He thinks that Larmor's suggestion that in a small bore tube the phenomenon should be more prominent, but he finds the subject difficult to write about, and he would value some time to talk with Larmor.
