DescriptionTravers is going to India in November and will see Larmor before he goes. [Frederick Thomas] Trouton showed him a paper on water absorption by cotton, where the results appeared to be the opposite of those of Trouton's, and Travers' own. He asks for a proof of the paper by [David Orme] Masson and gives an illustration of the curves produced by his and Trouton's results.
