TitleLetter from Fred T [Frederick Thomas] Trouton, 2 Holland Park, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorTrouton; Frederick Thomas (1863-1922); Irish experimental physicist
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date6 December 1905
DescriptionHe thanks Larmor for his letter. Trouton had thought of sending the paper for the Transactions but if Larmor thinks it unsuitable, it could go to the Proceedings. He has not made any experiments with glass wool, but he would expect a similar curve would be obtained. Heat generated on condensation was found by [David Orme] Masson was what would be expected from simple condensation without much chemical action. Trouton comments on the curves and he agrees with Larmor about flannel.
