TitleLetter from George W [Walker] Walker, The Observatory, Eskdalemuir, Langholm, Dunfriesshire, to Sir Joseph [Larmor]
CreatorWalker; George Walker (1874-1921); British seismologist
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date21 December 1909
DescriptionHe thans Larmor for putting his paper before the Royal Society. He notes a solution to Larmor's first point, reducing a section to a reference to the former paper, wit a statement on mechanical force. He gives his reason for wanting to retain it, and notes some misprints, some the fault of the printer and some his own. He is unsure of what Larmor's second point refers to, fluorescence or x-rays, but he offers solutions which he hopes will be approved by the referees.
